What Aham Prema Means, and Why Steve Pinney Jr Teaches It

Aham Prema means “I am divine love.” It is the name Steve Pinney Jr gave to the meditation practice he founded after years of monastic study and teaching.

A simple practice

Aham Prema Meditation is a practice for calm, self-acceptance and emotional balance. It does not ask anyone to adopt a religion or change their life overnight. It asks for a few honest minutes.

Taught live, every week

Steve Pinney Jr teaches live weekly classes, including the Sunday Night Reset. Teaching in a room, with real people and real questions, is how he has always done it.

Where it came from

The practice grew out of Steve Pinney Jr’s years inside a monastic community, where meditation was not a weekly appointment but the shape of the day.
